Provisional booking will only be held for 7 days.
A deposit of no less than one third of the total cost of hire is required to confirm a booking. Deposits are neither refundable nor transferable.
The balance of the payment is required at least 21 days before the commencement of hire. No vehicles will be permitted to commence hire until paid for in full unless agreed in advance and in writing by H Biffen and Sons Ltd.
Any additional costs incurred such as extra time, parking charges or deviation from the journey as booked in relation to the booking form ( i.e to another destination for photographs) will necessitate the charging of an additional cost prevailing rates in half hourly increments pro rata. Any additional costs must be paid for in cash and in full at the end of the hire period.
Any cancellation must be notified in writing. Should the hirer cancel the agreement with less than 60 days notice then the hirer is liable for 50% of the outstanding balance. Should the hirer cancel the agreement with less than 30 days notice then the hirer may be liable for the full amount of the agreement.
H Biffen and Sons Ltd accepts no liability for any unforeseen circumstances whatsoever i.e. mechanical breakdown, punctures, accidents, traffic jams or severe weather conditions. Should delays occur or hired vehicles become permanently immobilised , the company reserves the right to offer an alternative vehicle. Failure to do so will result ina full refund of monies paid, thus ending H Biffen and Sons Ltd Liability.
H Biffen and Sons Ltd cannot be held responsible or liable for loss or damage to the hirer’s property or personal effects howsoever it may be caused.
H Biffen and Sons Ltd Accepts no liability for clothing or any other object being damaged, marked or dirtied in any way during the duration of hire.
Hirer’s will be held responsible for any damage to the vehicle howsoever caused by the clients or their guests regardless of cost, including but not restricted to damage such as stains, cigarette burns of fabric damage.
All Vehicles are strictly non-smoking
H Biffen and Sons Ltd reserves the right to terminate any and all services to rude and abusive clients. We also the right to retain any monies paid.
Under no circumstances is the used of any controlled substance allowed within the motor vehicle. It is agreed that, in the event of disputes over the legality of a substance, the assistance of the local authorities will be immediately requested.
H Biffen and Sons Ltd reserves the right for our chauffeurs to refuse to drive into or over any object that may cause damage to the vehicle.
H Biffen and Sons Ltd reserves the right to alter or amend these terma and conditions at any time without prior notice.
In case any one or more of the provisions contained shall be illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any respect under any law or regulation, such provisions shall be severed from and shall not affect or impair the validity, legality and unenforceable of the remaining provisions thereof. |
